In the light of potential fixture congestion later in the season, the League Management Committee has decided that the Semi Finals of both the League Challenge Cup and the Division One Trophy will be played over ONE match this season.
In each competition, the club drawn first in each tie will be at home in the semi final. The draw for the Semi Finals of both competitions will be made when all Semi Finalists of the respective Competition are known.
The status of each competition at the moment is as follows.
League Challenge Cup Quarter Finals
Abbey Hey v Daisy Hill or New Mills
Irlam or Bootle v Newcastle Town
St Helens Town v Wigan Robin Park
Winsford United v Glossop North End or AFC Liverpool
The Final of the League Challenge Cup will be held on Thursday 6th May 2010 at the Tameside Stadium, home of Curzon Ashton F.C.
Division One Trophy Quarter Finals
AFC Blackpool v Chadderton
Leek CSOB or Wigan Robin Park v AFC Liverpool
Irlam 2 Cheadle Town 3
Stone Dominoes v Barnoldswick Town
A date and venue for the final of the Division One Trophy will be arranged at a later date.
