One of the highlights of the recent sponsors evening was the presentation of the “125 shirts”.
In a scheme initiated by GNE Commercial Director Paul Eccles at the beginning of last season, the shirts from the special playing kit for the 125th year of GNE were “sold” to individual supporters and organisations to raise funds for the club. The shirts, which were worn by the players during last season, were presented to their new owners by GNE Chairman Dave Atkinson, as pictured in the slideshow below.
