Glossop North End are delighted to hear that goalkeeper Greg Hall has been awarded the ‘NWCFL Premier Division Goalkeepr of the Month‘ for August.
After picking up the Premier Division Goalkeeper of the Year last season, Greg has had a great start to the new campaign and was instrumental in the Hillmen’s unbeaten run during August.
Greg played in all of Glossop’s games during the month, conceded just two goals in the nine games played, and while his performances were consistently high throughout the month, he made a particularly crucial save in the 2-1 away win at Ashton Athletic.
In the last minute, he made an almost point blank save with an amazing piece of agility to keep the score line at 2-1 and secure all three points for the team.
On a more general note, Greg’s distribution of the ball is excellent, he is extremely quick in assessing positional situations, and has started this season maintaining the same high level of performance that was in evidence last season.
