How The Play-Offs Work

We’re not counting any chickens here, the lads still have work to do to qualify for the end of season play-offs in the Evo Stik First Division North, but we have had queries as to the format of how the play-offs work, so we thought we would make it clear.

Teams finishing in positions 2, 3, 4 & 5 at the end of the season – 23rd April – qualify for the play-offs. The team finishing 2nd will host the team finishing 5th, and those who claim 3rd place will host the 4th place team. These games will take place in the midweek after final games – either on 26th or 27th April.

The final is then hosted at the home ground of the highest placed team that qualifies for it. For example, if the 4th & 5th placed teams won through, the 4th placed team would host. This game takes place on April 30th.

Hope that’s clear! Let’s get behind the team to help make sure we are involved.
