Tonight saw the start of Glossop North Ends pre-season with fitness training for both the First and Reserve team squads at Debdale Park.
Notable absentees from the session were last years Captain Jay Gorton and top goalscorer Sam Hind who have both left the club to test themselves in a higher league with Mossley.
Amongst those returning from last season were Kelvin Lugsden, Nick Allen, Jamie Dickinson, Adam Oakes, Steve Heaton, Daley Rothwell and keeper Ben Proctor.
Reserve Team management duo Calum Sykes and Stephen Muir met most of the players for the first time as did new Goalkeeping Coach Kevin Jelley.
Further seesions are planned on Thursday at the same venue and on Saturday at a venue to be decided.
