The FA Trophy comes to town this weekend with Glossop North End playing host to Spennymoor Town.
Spennymoor Town are no strangers to Surrey Street where at the start of this season both sides played their inaugural Evo-Stik Northern First Division back in August. That match finished 1-1 which left many Glossop supporters feeling aggrieved about a goal ruled out for offside.
Since then, both teams have had a very positive start to life in the Evo-Stik with Glossop and Spennymoor currently sitting 2nd and 4th in the table respectively. Like the season’s opening fixture, this will be a tough fixture where defense will be key; Spennymoor did not conceed a single league goal throughout the whole of September whilst netting 13 at the other end.
